Katie Rees Design recognises that designing and building your dream home is an incredible financial and emotional investment and approaches every project with the care and detail it deserves.

As a dedicated wife and mother to three young daughters, Katie understands and promotes home design that supports ultimate connection.  Her passion lies in developing homes that unashamedly reflect the personality and individual desires of their owners.

Plan

The relationship between yourself and the designer of your home is incredibly important. Katie takes the time to understand the aspiration behind your project to form a detailed client brief.

Design

Projects are scheduled to prioritise one project in the primary design development stage at any one time. We are our toughest critics and leave no stone unturned in imagining your home.

Develop

We work together to ensure you are comfortable with every aspect of the design before following on with detailed drawings and documentation for council approval, and co-ordination of supporting consultants where required.

Detail

As a Registered Building Practitioner since 2003, Katie takes pride in preparing the detailed documentation underpinning the construction phase of every design.

Major projects

The projects are at various stages of documentation, construction and completion. Use the unique project tags on each to track their progress and watch them come to life.

Renovation master plan

Owners often dive into renovating areas of their home without a Master Plan or end goal in mind. This can become costly or restrictive down the track if you discover your new bathroom or kitchen may in fact be in the wrong place. This Renovation Master Plan service was developed with the intention to provide pure design outcomes specific to your project.
