This sentiment is also particularly relevant to your home design and building process.
When designing and building or renovating a new home, there are many decisions to make. Some are big and represent ‘Sliding Door Moments’, while others are smaller and less consequential.
Some of the big decisions are things like;
- Determining budget
- Establishing your brief
- Choosing your designer
- Choosing your builder
These decisions can determine your project’s ultimate success (or failure).
The small stuff tends to be more fun, like choosing your fireplace, paint colours or tiles. Unfortunately, if we don’t get the big stuff right, you may never get to the fun stuff.
